Are You Being Tested?

These are holy pressure-cooker times. The world is shedding its skin, and so are you. If you’re in between the old and the new, solidifying your new identity, your new way of being - I see you. Becoming is a life long dance. In the midst of your most intense transformation you will often be tested.

Not because you're failing, but because you're ascending.

Can you hold your new frequency when the old comes knocking?

Here’s how to spot those spiritual tests, making sure you pass them with flying colours and that you stay anchored and rooted in your new level of being.

Old Connections Resurfacing

Just when you are starting to feel strong, unstoppable and unbothered, the old comes knocking! This year has seen the ending and finalisations of many soul contracts. This can be both painful and freeing.

Usually, when the energy is clearing in the spiritual realm and the lessons required by both parties have been completed, there’s a dissolving happening energetically. This can mean that you suddenly start feeling someone’s energy intensely or thinking of them. If you’re not careful, it can lead to you either reaching out to them out of a subconscious desire to close to the loop, or they may reach out to you. This is often driven by fear. A fear of losing the connection and what it represented to you. Your old self is dying and trying its best to cling to the old, the safe, the familiar. Otherwise, what is there?

There’s trust, surrender and divine alignment. That’s what. Safety is something we must cultivate within ourselves. When the old comes around, it tries to bring you back to an old identity and survival patterns you’ve outgrown.

Resist the temptation. Instead, release and let go with grace. You are your own safe space now.

Shiny Opportunities Appear

Another thing you may experience is that you will be presented with seemingly bright and shiny opportunities that make so much sense on paper. Yet, don’t be fooled! They represent an old version of yourself that no longer exists. Saying yes would be suffocating to your new self. These are opportunities that no longer align with who you’ve become.

Trust your inner knowing and choose yourself above any shiny opportunity that would take you away from who you’re becoming. This is your time to choose consciously and wisely.

Old Doors Swing Back Open

You may not just be presented with new opportunities that are unaligned, but also with opportunities to return to the old. This can seem tempting, seductive and even lucrative, yet going back to the old is rarely the answer. It just gets you more of the same. Old keys don’t open new doors.

This is your faith being tested. Do you have the courage to say no to what’s no longer aligned? Do you have the faith that if you do so, you will be rewarded with something better? Do you need to make choices out of fear or can you allow yourself to make choices from a place of faith?

Old Patterns Coming Back Around

This next test is a tricky one. You will encounter people, places and situations to trigger you. Will you revert to your old way of being under pressure? Will your nervous system make a fuss and force you into survival or an old way of being? Will you push, try to force or feel the need to prove your worth? Or can you master your inner state, develop inner resilience and an unshakable knowing in who you are, your innate worth and where you’re going?

Don’t default into old patterns. Even if you are in a season that appears to be triggerville. Go beyond your triggers. Go beyond your old outdated self and soar into who you’re becoming.

Fortifying Your Strength

These tests are not something to lament. They are to be celebrated. It means that you have an opportunity to rise beyond your old ways of being once and for all. That means you are at the precipice of a major completion.

These spiritual tests are gifts for you to fortify your strength, resilience and grace. They are meant to solidify who you are becoming. Because if your new way of being is not strong, it can be tipped off balance and eventually lost.

You need to be rock solid in who you are becoming, your belief in yourself, your values and your conviction in where you’re going and what you came here to do. Nothing and no one can shake or stir you away from who you are at your core or what your mission is.

Once you pass these tests, anything that tries to destabilise your inner being, will be easily conquered. Can’t you see? You’re becoming your own master. That’s what this is about.

Keep showing up. You wouldn’t be tested if you weren’t capable beyond measure.

It’s time to ace those spiritual tests one by one!
