I don’t miss
What was
What is
A reflection of what used to be
Rooted, anchored, solid
Like a tree
Shedding its leaves annually
Left bare to breathe
To renew, to reform
A new identity
Free to crawl, stumble, fall
To rise like never before
The old died so I could be reborn

So so so powerful, Hege. I have seen many who cling on to the past and let go the incredible opportunities to reborn as a revived and refined self.
Love how gentle and fair there words are.
