To Reside

A Poem

I think I would like to reside
In that space
That gap
Between insanity and genius

I think I wouldn’t swap
This state of union
With anything else

Anything less
Could not possess 
That divine detail
That missing link
So easy to miss
With just a blink of an eye

Isn’t that where creativity
Where inspiration also resides?

To be different is not possible
Perhaps for you and everyone else
Not for me, myself, nor I
