Creativity demands to break the shackles of comforts and comfort zone. The tips shared by you are universally applicable beyond a doubt. Thanks a lot, Hege.

One of the things I'd like to see happen is more local art that includes work from children and from people who are not "artists" but who allow art to flow through them. I'd love to see more neighborhood poetry slams. More music composed by kids and played by adults. More garden shares and collective poetry writes in a circle around a campfire.

This sounds great Alicia! Is this something you can initiate or champion in your local area perhaps?

I am a bee, butterfly, delegator, a leader of inspiration, but I am not the one to “do things” on the ground. That is someone else’s job, but I continually seed the ideas and trust they will land and take root. If someone were to give me the platform I could lead such a venture, but I am not gifted in the ways of “making it happen on the ground.” I can delegate, coach, inspire, inquire, fine-tune, brain storm…but organizing events? Not my bag house. Are you familiar with Human Design? Mine is where I have to be invited to do/lead rather take initiative in terms of manifesting, where as the pollinating I do innately. So I trust the ideas will find their doer, that they will find the soil that nurtures them, the gardener that will water them and the harvester and distributor to help them reach whoever they may bless.

Love the Angelou and Einstein quotes! Not so much the Steve Jobs. I tried that but every time I looked at the art - whether theater or visual/modern art, it made me feel awful because it was reflected a fragmented, dysfunctional consciousness, rather than an uplifting one. I know artists online (and artists like Georgia O'keefe) who truly use art to either uplift and inspire or get us to be curious and to question...but so much art that actually gets promoted is just self-perpetuating "off" ness. I love what you said about stillness. Beautifully expressed. Thank you!

I completely agree with you Alicia. ✨ I too think a lot of art is coming from a negative or destructive energy. Art should be about uplifting and inspiring but I also believe that art can be about healing. So if creating the art is an expression which allows the creator to heal in some way then this will also extend to the consumer of the art. It will allow them to tap into their own healing process. The purpose of the Steve Job quote is not so much to define art in any one way, there is definitely destructive art and there is healing/uplifting art, but rather to bring home the point that creativity is for everyone. Everyone is creative and everything is a creation regardless of the energy behind it or how it’s being perceived. Some people stop themselves from creating out of a faulty belief that they’re ‘not the creative type’. I also believe creativity in its highest form stems from source. We are just vessels as creators. Loved your take on all this and appreciate your comment and beautiful vibes 🙏
