I was ignorant of Samhain. Many thanks for enlightening me, Hege. None of the festivities, celebrations and occasions are observed in the way they were perceived and the underlying objectives have gone for a toss. It is truly prudent to stay positive and calm outside and within. Thanks a lot, Hege.

There is a lot of darkness infused in Halloween for sure. Yet I don’t judge anyone if it’s celebrated as innocent fun yet often there is more to it than people understand. I agree with you there Larry.

However, I have always seen myself as a spiritual person and a truth seeker. I do believe that all religions are branches of the same tree yet I also agree that some β€˜spirituality’ is actually not stemming from a pure source and one must be careful of what one engages in. Especially lately as more dark practices are becoming mainstream disguised as spirituality.

I am moving more towards Jesus and his teachings now than new age spirituality but I also believe that a lot of it is the same teachings but Jesus is the more pure source.

Take Law of Attraction for instance. Jesus speaks about this in the Bible on so many occasions (of course he doesn’t call it that) but the underlying message is the same. So much to discuss here that I could go on and on but ultimately I respect everyone’s individual right to choose their own way to find and embrace truth and light.

One thing is for sure though: Halloween ain’t it! ✨

Interesting. Thanks for sharing Larry. I’m still learning but I agree with what you’re saying there about the negative message of worshipping ourselves and almost trying to play the role of God rather than surrendering to God’s will and focusing on co-creation with the divine rather than trying to manipulate outcomes to suit our ego desires (which is based on dark energy and even some LOA teaches how to do this) You clearly know a lot more about all this as a historian than I do. It seems to me that more and more people, myself included, are waking up to some of the delusions that we have been taught disguised as β€˜spirituality’. It certainly is a vast and complex topic!
