I'm glad you wrote about self-acceptance, Hege, a topic near and dear to my heart. You eloquently described what self-acceptance looks like and how it differs from self-love, which we tend to hear more about. As you write, they are different and both valid.

exactly! accept yourself to love yourself. Now... what prevents you to accept yourself? I see nothing. I only see love. As you are now.

What prevents us to accept others (for example trolls, haters, psychopaths... as they are now? I see nothing prevents that. I only see love. What do you see?

I'd love to hear your wisdom as I've enjoyed and loved your essay. You are a wonderful human and this world needs more people like you are 🙏✨

Thank you so much Forrest for your thoughtful comment. I agree that through self acceptance we can accept others and see only love as you say. I also believe that with radical self acceptance and self love comes healthy firm boundaries as well as there is no longer a need to people please. Therefore we simply don’t engage with the lower energies of trolls etc we simply wish them love and peace.

Thank you so much Mike! Interesting analogy. I know what you mean! It sure takes time to find one’s way back to oneself. And I definitely won’t change my face! 😅
