Residing in mountains and wading my way through dense woods coupled with working alongside pure and selfless souls have brought real stillness within me and I feel so empowered and graceful like never before. And the best part is that there are no traces of pseudo-ego, but only humility and gratitude in abundance. Great going, Hege.
Interesting reference to habit; Every single day I take 5min, to stand and observe nothing and think about nothing. Even though people think I'm looking at the river, I'm not.
When I began meditating, I was aware of a friend of a friend’s book (talks), “In That Stillness.” I thought, “Yes, stillness. I want to be still.”
Without knowing what I was doing, I tried to be as still as possible by letting go of thoughts and releasing any tension in my body.
Somehow it worked! After months of one minute a day, I began to feel more ease. 19 years later, I still practice stillness on occasion. Thanks for the prompt. :)
Thanks so much Ryan! I actually post 3 times a week: 2 articles and a poem! This is great that you practice stillness. Even one minute makes a massive difference. Appreciate you sharing this. We all need it so much more than we think! ✨

That sounds like quite an amazing and unique experience Vineet that no doubt will have served you. How beautiful! Thanks for sharing
It indeed is, Hege and you are most welcome to join us whenever you plan your visit to India. :-)
I believe we are asked to do this EVERY! SINGLE! DAY!
The “stillness” goes through our soul and changes us (for the better).
For whatever reason, it’s seemingly a challenge many don’t take the time to do this.
I 100% agree Karl! It’s so important and if more people did this and really connected deeply to self I believe a lot of problems would disappear ✨
So do I, Hege!
Sorry Ron don’t know where my mind is today calling you Karl ✨
No worries whatsoever!

That sounds like a lovely habit Karl! A bit like a standing meditation of sorts ✨
Great to see you in “Your Weekly Stack,” Hege!

Running. Always running. Only when we're still do The Universe's whispers become audible.
Absolutely spot on Derek! ✨
I fight stillness so much! Great advice
Thanks Jane ✨
I try to do this at least once a day. It's more connected to prayer for me. I want to take the time afterwards and just listen.
I also try for stillness when my pain is at its peak.
This is great to hear Shauna. Prayer is very powerful 🙏
