Such wisdom in this post, Hege. One of the lessons I am trying to learn (Substack really helps with this) is that continual, steady movement forward is better than sprinting till I get too tired and stopping. It’s so easy to run fast and go too fast then give up when if you just keep moving forward at the steady pace, you will reach your finish line quicker. Thanks for helping us see the best path forward.

Nice post Hege, and some great reminders for me too.

I resonated most with having faith, because in the end, if we do not have faith and trust that things will work out, then we will always operate from a disadvantaged position.

It’s fascinating how the seemingly simple aspects of life, like finding the proper balance and, yes, of course slowing down are vital, therapeutic. Yet, we complicate life so much the balance, the “slow but steady” pace too often doesn’t happen.

As a matter of fact, it is frowned upon. Obviously, it shouldn’t be! It’s our choice though and reminders like yours Hege are quite important.

Thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much Ron. We definitely need to remind ourselves of this regularly. I agree that as a collective we have become unbalanced. Hopefully we can learn that slowing down can be the only way to speed up and stop seeing it as a negative thing ✨
